For this case, the fist exhibit Review.HC.History.docx is a reflection on the three main factors contributing to U.S., such as: the creation of the insurance system in the U.S., the role of the government in the promotion of health coverage, and, intentional and unintentional acts of discrimination. These factors, and in combination with other environmental factors, they have shaped the current status of health care systems in the U.S.

Overall, the exhibits show the health care delivery in the United States is the result of many factors that gave rise to its current organization.  Some factors, like insurance system for health care or the demand for increase in health care quality and the urgency for lowering costs, have promoted different regulations over the years.  Additionally, the exhibits show how chronic illnesses have affected the population starting from the individual and permeating all the way to the community levels.   The implementation of Electronic Health Record system represent one of the first milestones towards the utilization of information technology with the main purpose of improving health care provision at individual and at population level.  All of these factors and the incorporation of new technologies have given rise to new models for health care delivery  that in a new future will help to improve health care
